Brown-sentenced
Chris Brown has been ordered to serve an additional 131 days behind bars.
The 25-year-old singer admitted to violating his probation during a court hearing in Los Angeles on Friday, the Associated Press reports.
Chris remains on probation stemming from his 2009 conviction for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna.
The singer was arrested in October 2013 for allegedly assaulting a man in Washington, DC, prompting prosecutors to bring the case before a judge.
AP reports Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin sentenced Brown to serve 365 days.
Chris, however, has been in custody since March after he was kicked out of court-ordered rehab for anger management.
Judge Brandlin subsequently gave the rapper 234 days time served in both rehab and in jail.
Chris still faces a misdemeanour assault charge stemming from the alleged incident outside the W Hotel in Washington, DC, in which a man accused the singer of punching him after he attempted to photobomb a picture.
TMZ previously reported Chris could face felony charges in the case after prosecutors in April filed legal documents claiming they believe there is enough evidence to support a more aggressive prosecution.
Apparently the alleged victim's injuries were severe enough to require hospitalisation, which could justify a a more severe charge if more evidence is gathered.
Proceedings in that case have been postponed until June.
