Duff is 'really good friends' with ex
Hilary Duff is 'not in a rush for anything' to happen between her and estranged husband Mike Comrie.
The Lizzie McGuire actress announced her separation from Mike in January after three years of marriage. At the time the couple, who have two-year-old son Luca together, said it was an 'amicable separation' and that still seems to be the case according to the 26-year-old.
'We're really dedicated to taking care of Luca. We're really good friends and spend a lot of time together - and we're not in a rush for anything,' she told Life & Style magazine. 'We're just trying to enjoy our lives and figure out what makes us happy and it's working for us.'
Luca is still the main priority for the singer and actress and her ice hockey player ex-partner. But the star admitted there are still a lot of feelings there between the two of them.
'We do care a lot about each other," she explained. "We're adults and we're making our way through life. Sometimes you do that together and apart."
As well as opening up about her relationship with the 33-year-old, Hilary also told the publication about Luca. For the Cheaper by the Dozen actress, watching her little boy develop has been one of the biggest joys in her life.
'He definitely has a strong personality! He's talking a lot and trying to put two words together, which is kind of a big deal since he's two,' she revealed. 'I would say 'spirited' is a great word [to describe him]. For the most part he has a really great demeanour. He loves to share and he's a kind kid."
