According to TMZ 20 year-old singer and judge/panelist on the X Factor, Demi Lovato dissed Justin Bieber during auditions on the show. While young hopefuls were strutting their stuff for the judges at the University of Southern California campus, Lovato told a young 22 year-old “wanna-be” who had a “bad attitude” that the music industry already had its fair share of “rude” artists.
While Demi didn’t come right out and say that she was talking about the 19 year-old pop star, it was pretty obvious that she’d been thinking of Bieber when she came out with her next scathing comment about the “tween-idol.” After listening to another singer audition with their version of Bieber’s own track As Long as You Love Me, once the other enthusiastic judges complemented the singer, Lovato said, “Well finally someone [who] can sing the song the way it was meant to be sung.”
Of course Demi might not care for the way that Bieber treated her gal pal Selena Gomez when they were a sporadic couple. Apparently, Gomez and Lovato have been BFFs ever since they first met on the children’s television show Barney and Friends.
Demi did say to MTV that she and her BFF “have been through a lot together.” She also explained about how she and Selena endured as friends. She said, “We’ve had periods of time where we grew apart and we just didn’t really talk.” She added, “But now we’re in a place where I think we realised that life is so short, and that when you have people in your life that love you so much, then you should just always be around them.”
Or the distaste that Demi appears to have for Justin Bieber may have to do with his “bullying” of other people, which consists of him ordering his thug squad aka bodyguards to attack paparazzi and innocent diners in restaurants who take his picture. She obviously dissed him on the X Factor auditions for a reason and goodness knows she has plenty that are over and above the mop bucket incident or the way he treated Gomez!
Maybe it iss about his urinating in a mop bucket, or his alleged speeding through his neighbourhood and then his alleged spitting on a neighbour who complained about his using the residential streets as his own personal speedway.
Or perhaps his alleged under-age drinking and alleged drunken antics – one of which was peeing in the above mentioned mop bucket and telling former president Bill Clinton’s picture F*** you! It should be clear that Demi Lovato doesn’t think too highly of Justin Bieber with or without Selena Gomez in the picture.
Considering that Demi revealed to Ellen DeGeneres, that she’d been bullied so badly in school that she requested home-schooling and that as a part of that bullying she self harmed to deal with the stress and pain it makes sense. Demi also supports the anti-bullying organisation PACER and is not only the groups spokesperson, but she appeared on America’s Next Top Model to speak out against bullying.
That might be the real reason that she doesn’t have Bieber fever. Because underneath his fame and money and fan adulation, he is a bully. He also doesn’t appear to care what he does to other people as long he can still have his fun.
Well, one person who he won’t be having any fun with is Demi Lovato, who not only dissed Justin Bieber at the X Factor auditions, but probably will not be joining any Justin Bieber fan clubs either.
